I am from Sri Lanka. I am a Doctoral student who joined with the Soil Management Laboratory of the Okayama University. I am expecting to explore new insights in the field of Soil Science with the tremendous guidance and the facilities available in the Okayama University while enjoying the social and cultural aspects of Japan.
My name is Minh Chau from Vietnam, who is a doctoral student at the Soil Management Laboratory, Okayama University. It is a really great chance for me to open my mind to the Soil Science field under conscientious instruction and modern equipment. I am Erandi Perera who is a graduate student from Sri Lanka. I’m investigating
the ways in which the environmental pollution can be mitigated by reducing
nutrient enrichment of water bodies using the relationship of microbial
reaction in-between soil and water. It is a great privilege to join with
the Soil Science Laboratory in Graduate School of Environmental and Life
Science at Okayama University. My hobbies are reading, listening music
and watching movies. As a foreign student, I am very much enjoying the
Japanese cultural differences and impressive hospitality in a very peaceful
surrounding. The amazing feeling of novel climate and the beautiful environment
in the Land of Sakura makes me happy and fresh on each splendid day.
I am Uyen, who graduated from Hue, Viet Nam. I am interested in researching a combination of plants and microbial fuel cells in order to promote power generation and pollutant removal from wastewater and sediment. Becoming one of the members of Soil Science Laboratory at Okayama University was a great opportunity for me to gain more knowledge and practical skills under the guidance of professors, teachers and members in the laboratory. Also, I hope to be able to enjoy Japanese culture as well as new things here. My hobbies are photography and traveling.

I am sidra tul muntaha from Peshawar, Pakistan. I am 21 years old (November 2020). My hobbies are watching and listening to Japanese movies, anime and songs just to memorize Japanese. I published my first research paper when I was 19. I have done research work in 3 fields of botany i.e. medicinal botany, environmental science and mycology. In Oct 2020 I became official student of Okayama University Soil Management Laboratory under the supervision of professor MAEDA morihiro. I am impressed with my lab mates and professor. Everyone is so kind and helping. I am looking forward to a great time here.
